Well this little table runner is still in the works – I must admit that I have disliked binding this little thing to the point of not picking it up for days LOL – but yesterday I finally got started again and made headway – one or two more sessions and I should have it […]

read moreTurned out my thread worked just fine with this machine- I don’t know why it didn’t the last time I tried it. In the afternoon I set out to get the runner machine quilted – it didn’t take long it was all straight lines that I did and no threads to tie off as I […]
read moreI thought now that I am just about done with the applique block I needed to get Daisy Chain the table runner basted and figure out if I was hand quilting it or machine quilting it – before I get back to cutting out the quilt kit that I started a couple weeks ago The […]
read moreDaisy Chain now has all the papers out, and is pressed ready to be finished whenever I get it basted that is. The backing was made out of left over fabric strips that made the hexies – I had used a jelly roll and some yardage for the gray. On the table to check for […]

read moreI got a start on my yellow February blocks for the RSC21 challenge and I really was amazed to find I didn’t have a lot to choose from in big pieces – I had enough of my 2.5 squares in my scrap box to make my 36 patch blocks but I’m going to hold off […]

read moreI realized this week that I had to get this quilt finished -- and quick -- because little lady is likely to arrive any day! So this week I did got a step or two of finishing done every day until I sewed the last stitch yesterday -- washing and pressing the backing, getting the quilt layered and basted, quilting and trimming, and finally binding!
Over the weekend, I finished up the quilt top of the Daisy Chain baby quilt I have been working on.
The best thing about baby quilt is how quickly they start coming together! This week I have been working on the star blocks of my Daisy Chain baby quilt.
For the stars, I am using the pink large scale floral print.
